Crazy Day
Well yesterday started out seeming like every other but ended after much more excitement than I was ready for. As some of you know I babysit a little boy Gianna's age two days a week. Yesterday was a longer day (1-7) than normal. Gianna has also started to skip her only nap  (yes I use SBB smiles everywhere, don't make fun of me). When we got to Ben's house he was napping so Gianna was out of sorts with out her bestie around. After he woke and ate I got ready to take them both out for a walk and sure enough after everyone is all strapped in and sock on, I open the front door and its raining. Yup that beautiful sky that was there 5 minutes ago was now replaces with gray clouds and rain. And of course my car windows were WIDE open. Great....This isn't the best part of the story by the way :noway: So a little later the cat squeezes her way through the bars of the gate, like normal, to go down the basement. I open the door for her and she doesnt want to go. The cat isn't really fond of the kids so she stays away most of the time, just to come down and pee and then goes back upstairs. Well she decided to be extra friendly and rub around my legs...then she decided my leg was evil and went nuts. Thankfully Ben was behind me and Gianna was on my hip. I screamed and ran and hid with the kids in the dining room, taking the phone with me to call my mom. I told her what happened and she was going to come over to watch the kids while I tried to convince the cat to go downstairs. Then the cat looked like she was going to jump th counter to come nearer to where we were. So I took the kids and phone and ran to the garage, the nearest place with a door to sepearte us. Little did I know the garage door was locked. So I'm stuck in a garage with 2 kids, no keys, no toys, no shoes and a phone. Luckly my mom was home to bring over the extra car seat to take both kids back to my house. Oyh! But they kids were GREAT the whole time :tu: and my leg survived with just a few scratches.
